How Zoey came into our arms.
When I found out I was pregnant I had an unusual case of Morning sickness I was throwing up every 20 mines (retching hard) 24 hours straight for about 2 weeks we went on that health & welfare pregnancy insurance so I thought I had a small list of Drs to choose from…
I picked a Dr blindly (BIG mistake) so I went to my first visit and he said everything was normal and being as this was my 1st pregnancy I had nothing to go off of so I believed him he misdiagnosed my daughters Due date ( that a whole diff. story)
So any ways during my stay with this dr I developed saver cramping and heavy bleeding so we rushed in to see the dr he told us that at that point in time (I was only maybe 9 weeks) I was not carrying a baby but that she was just a “thing” and that we (my Hubby and I) should stop thinking of her as a baby…
then he told us that miscarriages happen all the time at 9 weeks nothing was wrong and that we should not get emotional over some”thing” that is not a human (BS) so we went home and wated I still had unease feelings about everything…
we still continued to see this Dr we went in for my 20 week visit I kind of knew what to expect at this visit (my 20 week full fetal work up) I had been existed about this visit for quite some time well the appointment was scheduled to be on the day of Halloween…
When we got to the office we wated for 2 hours (in the waiting room) before we got in to see “a” Dr we did not even see our Dr we saw someone who knew nothing about me and my hubby (our case) the appointment (20 week full fetal) takes usually 1 to 2 hours this Dr looked me up and down and said I was free to go all of which took no less than 2 mins…..
so I went home ( without the proper medical care) I cried because I knew enough to know I was not getting the proper medical treatment a pregnant woman should be getting my Hubby convinced me to change Drs and my mom recommended an exilent OBGYN…
my new Dr examined me from head to toe and put me on bed rest my daughter tried to come at 23 weeks (from weeks 23 on I was in premature labor) I was induced at what they thought was 38 weeks ( the new Dr kept the old Drs original due date)
so I went in at 6 am and the Dr broke what she thought was my water so we wated and we wated and we wated then at 8pm the dr came in to check me one last time she told me that I had a strange pocket of scar tissue then she discovered that my water had not been broken so she broke my water and at 11:13 my beautiful daughter was born..
