My sweet mexico Book Review ( and more)
OK readers I have a new obsession COOKBOOKS! and I am going to review another book I just bought add to my stash or collection But more on that in a moment so I have been reivaluationg my life since I consived my son and at that time I had to give up being vegetarian for the safety of my son and I have always had trouble sticking to hat way of life even more so that I married my husband who comes from a Hispanic background so I have to say I have officially given up on That diet and as of the 18th of oct 2016 I have officially gotten rid of the last of my Big ginormous Vegetarian and vegan cookbook volumes I did keep like 4 vegan books because they were small books and I truly do enjoy the recipes from those books some of the recipes from those books include granola and cupcakes made with yogurt But back to the real reson I sat down to write today :) I am going on another culinary adventure I am exploring Latin america through food and the book that started it all is a book called
My Sweet Mexico: Recipes for Authentic Pastries, Breads, Candies, Beverages, and Frozen Treats -By Fany Gerson
This book is an amazing compendium of sweet treats from all over mexico It also give you a small history lesson Plus as an added bonus The pictures are amazing I am super excited that I have added this amazing book to my collection but please don't take my word for it go find yourself a copy of the book and find out for yourself I bought a hard cover copy and I am so Pleased at what came in the mail eeek even as I write this review I am in the prosses of creating one of the recipes from its pages I could write all day but alas My son is calling for my attention so I will sign off until another day
