the rich, developed nation of Australiaspends millions to make sure refugees can’t receive protection in Australia

Australian policy to “Stop the boats” leaves
thousands of children living in a precarious existance
for 5, 10, even 30 years
.

In its efforts to “Stop the boats”,
Australia holds children in jail with hardened criminals, and
Australia holds children in jail with sex offenders.

(As of June 20th and following exposure in the press,
3 children have been released pending age checks,
and a 4th child is still in an adult prison working alongside sex offenders.)

(“Stop the boats” is the political catch-cry to stop desperate refugees reaching the safety of Australia by boat.)

Australia to deport lone children
to detention centres where unaccompanied girls are prey to “gangs and unscrupulous officials”.
The plan has sparked outrage and serious fears for the safety of unaccompanied young girls.
Genuine refugees are beaten with the excrutiatingly painful rattan cane.

Australia to send refugee children back on boats
to disease-ridden camps where children can be tortured with the Rattan cane,
a move deplored by United Nations Human Rights Commissioner and Amnesty International.

Australia systematically locks up traumatised refugee children.

Refugees, fleeing real danger and persecution back home,
are being smashed upon the rocks of Australia,
as a deterrant to “Stop the boats”

The current Australian “Stop the boats” system,
with it’s long or lack of processing of genuine refugees,
leads inevitably and unsurprisingly to the death of refugee children
who are fleeing dangerous homelands
and avoiding insecure transit countries
where refugee conventions and refugee human rights are not recognised.

And now the Australian police are firing at refugees,
using war zone weapons on refugees
who are fleeing war zones and human rights abuses.
